OPENLANE designates Pieter Behets as the new Country Manager for Belgium. The newly appointed manager has accepted the challenge of our online car auction platform to strengthen its position as market leader in Belgium.

Behets has been with OPENLANE since the very beginning. Back in 2005 he was actually the first official employee on the payroll. Over the years he played an increasing role in the auction process and operational management of our car auction website. Since 2008, he has been serving as Operations Manager for OPENLANE Belgium.

Johan Meyssen, CEO of OPENLANE, is convinced that Pieter Behets his years of experience within the company, his extensive knowledge of the market and his relationship with the suppliers, will be an important contribution to the further development of the car auction platform.

The coming year, Behets will strive to achieve a larger market share for OPENLANE Belgium. "We will continue to strengthen our relationships with current sellers as well as attract new providers.
